Terra Cotta Class Spring 2020
If it is safe to do so, we will resume classes in late spring/early summer of 2021.
The Two Fish School Spring Session begins with pottery workshops and classes taught by Pat Robison. Classes will meet in the renovated Carriage House behind the gallery at 244 East Rhine Street in Elkhart Lake. All clay, glaze, and firing costs are included in the $150.00 tuition.
Terra Cotta means "baked earth," and this pinkish-orange clay has enjoyed a rich history in many cultures. Start your own tradition of creating terra cotta garden containers, sculptures, or tiles as your thoughts turn toward spring, seed catalogs, and dreams of the approaching gardening season. Here's your chance to hand-build, wheel throw, and alter terra cotta creations along with exploring surface design and glazing options.
